North Carolina Superior Court 28th Judicial District

The Superior Court in North Carolina is the court of highest jurisdiction at the trial level. Civil cases with a value in excess of $10,000 and all criminal felony matters are tried in Superior Court. District Court criminal convictions are also appealed to Superior Court for trial by jury. Judge Pope serves all of Western North Carolina in his Superior Court capacity.
